Grand Prix is a VQ-run competition consisting of three weekend rounds, with each round about a month apart. There are multiple games played per round (a bit like a tournament). Each match is best of five sets with no time limit.
It is ideal for players who want to play competitive volleyball against Brisbane and regional teams, but don't wish to play every week.
See VQ Grand Prix for more info.
To play in Grand Prix you must be a Dragons member with VQ recreational membership or higher. There are some pretty good teams playing so come prepared!
Note that accommodation costs for Saturday night as shown are only indicative - they will be updated upwards or downwards when they are finalised, and you will be invoiced for the difference after the tournament.
If you wish to bring a non-playing partner or any children with you AND they require accommodation, please include them as your guests, so we can bill you appropriately.
Can juniors attend?
It is an tournament for open-aged players, so any juniors participating would need to be compatible playing with older team members, and be supervised by a responsible adult.
Training will occur at The Gap SHS on Tuesday nights on the week or two leading up to the competition.
